This Training is a self-paced, online program designed specifically for skilled nursing facilities Through five concise modules (15–30 minutes each), participants will learn practical respiratory assessments, interventions, and documentation standards. Each module concludes with a competency quiz. Upon completion, learners receive a certificate of competency of Respiratory Nursing. Lesson 1 will take you through and introduction to Respiratory Nursing in Geriatric care. Lesson's 2 and 3 will review in depth Assessment of the geriatric patient, including chart review and hands on assessment techniques. Lesson 4 will review Diversified Interventions to utilize as well as how to make each Intervention skilled. Lesson 5 will review Documentation of Respiratory Nursing services to ensure medical necessity and Justification of services.
